FAQ

WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT?

We expect total commitment from our participating startups. Over 8 weeks, the program will hold up to 3 weekly online sessions with industry experts, lawyers, founders, and investors on Fridays between 1 and 5 p.m. Additionally, participants can schedule 1on1 coaching sessions with the MediaTech Hub Accelerator team for extra support.

Our support doesn’t end after 8 weeks. We continue to provide our resources to the startups for additional 10 months, ensuring startups have the necessary tools and guidance to thrive beyond the program.

WHAT ARE THE MAIN TOPICS OF THE PROGRAM?

  • Fundraising preparation
  • Business modeling and financial planning
  • Calculating the startup valuation and how much to raise
  • Building a fundraising funnel and choosing the right investors
  • Approaching and connecting with investors
  • Pitching to investors
  • Understanding investor’s mindsets, expectations, and selection process
  • Getting prepared for the legal process of fundraising
  • Negotiation and closing deals with investors

WHAT ARE THE PROGRAM COSTS?

The program ist equity-free. We charge a success fee for successful fundraising. The success fee is 3% of the total investment amount, capped at €10,000.

The fee is only charged if an equity investment is closed within 12 months from the program’s start unless investor commitments or term sheets already exist at the beginning of the program.
